Anton Goodman '33
Growing up in Kewanee, Illinois, Anton attended Kewanee High School.  He participated in football, track and basketball.  He served as captain of the basketball team.

He entered Lake Forest in 1929 and earned three letters each in football, track, and basketball.  He was the Most Valuable Player of the football team his senior year.  A member of Digamma Alpha Upsilon, he also served as president of the L.F. Club.

Following graduation, he went to work for Walworth Company in Kewanee.  In 1946, he was a top foreman and in 1957, he was promoted to superintendent of the finishing division.  Anton left Walworth in the late 1950's and entered the insurance business with State Bank & Mortgage Co.  He returned to industrial manufacturing, serving as a management trainer at Kenwanee Machinery and Conveyor company.  Anton retired in 1973 and stayed active fishing, swimming, and boating.
