Inducted 1983 ![]() He entered Lake Forest in 1929 and earned three letters each in football, track, and basketball. He was the Most Valuable Player of the football team his senior year. A member of Digamma Alpha Upsilon, he also served as president of the L.F. Club. Following graduation, he went to work for Walworth Company in Kewanee. In 1946, he was a top foreman and in 1957, he was promoted to superintendent of the finishing division. Anton left Walworth in the late 1950's and entered the insurance business with State Bank & Mortgage Co. He returned to industrial manufacturing, serving as a management trainer at Kenwanee Machinery and Conveyor company. Anton retired in 1973 and stayed active fishing, swimming, and boating.
