Albert A. Kroll '39
Growing up in Libertyville, Illinois, Albert attended Libertyville High School where he was a member of the football team.

He entered Lake Forest in 1935 and played three years of football.  In his third year he injured his leg which later required amputation.  He served as assistant coach his final year.  A history major, Albert was a member of Digamma Alpha Upsilon.

Following graduation, he went on to Northwestern University to recieve his Master's degree.  He then started his career as a teacher and coach.  He worked at Zion-Benton High School and then became the Athletic Director at Antioch High School and finally served as superintendent of Oak Grove school district.  Albert also served as Village President of Libertyville for five years.
