Inducted 1997 Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tony attended Marquette High School. He participated in soccer for four years. He entered Lake Forest in 1979 and went on to earn four letters in soccer. A four-time All-Conference, Tony was Coaches' All-American Honorable Mention his freshman year and was the leading scorer his junior and senior years. Co-captain of the team his senior year, he was also Most Valuable Player. He finished his soccer career with 36 goals and 29 assists. Tony also served as manager of the hockey team for four years and took an active role in designing the logos for the ice. Graduating with a degree in business and computer science, Tony took a position as a marketing support assistant with IBM. After working for Decorel, Inc. as a materials manager, he then took a position with the software company, J.D. Edwards as a marketing consultant. Tony also volunteered his time to assist with the Forester alumni soccer games.
