"Ange" Palango '42
Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, Ange attended Fenger High School.  He was a letter-winner in baseball and football.

He entered Lake Forest in 1938 and earned three varsity letters in football.  At the quarterback position, Ange was the key man in the Forester offense.  He was voted Most Valuable Player his final season.  A member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, Ange was also very active in the Garrick Players.

Graduating with a degree in speech and Spanish, Ange went to work for Pullman Coach Co., making PT boats and submarines for the war.  He then started working as a sales representative for the engineering and drafting tools firm, Frederick Post Company.  Ange then became the sales director at San Diego Blue Print Company.  He served as president of the Engineers Club of San Diego and was a member of the National Microfilm Association, the Masons and the Elks.  In his retirement Ange continued to work in sales, but found time to golf.
