Dan Hankosky Named MWC Performer of the Week
Sophomore breaks his own school record
  

Dan Hankosky has nine of the top 25 times in school history.
LAKE FOREST , IL - Lake Forest College men’s cross country runner Dan Hankosky (Orland Park, IL/Carl Sandburg HS) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (October 5).

On Saturday (October 2), Hankosky set a school record by completing the 8-kilometer course in 26 minutes and 39 seconds. He finished the Loyola University Chicago Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in 32nd place out of 313 runners in the meet’s Maroon Division. Hankosky’s new career-best time was just seven seconds faster than the previous school record that he set at last year’s Midwest Conference Championship Meet.

Hankosky has been the team’s top runner at every meet during his career. He has run nine of the top 25 times in school history.

MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information directors.
