LAKE FOREST , IL - Lake Forest College sophomore cross country runner Dan Hankosky (Orland Park, IL/Carl Sandburg) ran a personal best and new school record at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational, hosted by Loyola University of Chicago on Saturday (October 2). His 8K time of 26:39 gave Hankosky a 32nd-place finish out of 313 runners. Hankosky has been the top Forester male in each of the team’s meets through two seasons and earned All-Midwest Conference honors last year as a freshman. He was selected as the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (October 5) and as Forester Athlete of the Week on September 9 for his fourth-place finish at the Tom Barry Invitational in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
