Inducted 1995 Growing up in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Deb attended Forest View High School in Arlington Heights. She participated in volleyball, basketball and softball all four years and was captain of all three teams her senior year. She also made the Elite 8 in volleyball. She entered Lake Forest in 1981 and earned four letters in both volleyball and softball and one in basketball. Captain of the volleyball team her junior and senior years, she was also All-Conference and Most Valuable Player those same years. In softball she was co-captain her final two seasons. Her .365 batting average helped the team win the North Division and led them to the Conference Finals her senior year. Graduating with a degree in chemistry, Deb went on to hold various positions as a chemist with Prax Air Distribution, Inc. and Liquid Carbonic Industries, Corp., where she was production manager and lab supervisor. She continues to compete in community amateur softball and volleyball leagues and was treasurer of the National Association of Women's Softball.
