Make a Memory: Take a Kid to the Game
Bring a kid and get in free on February 12
  

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College is inviting all area youth to attend its upcoming women’s and men’s basketball games on Saturday, February 12, against Monmouth College. The women's game will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the men will follow at approximately 3:00. Youth will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when Lake Forest hosts NCAA® Basketball’s 10th Anniversary Take a Kid to the Game® (TAKG) day celebration. Youth, ages 12 and younger, along with the accompanying adults, will receive free tickets to watch the Foresters take on the Fighting Scots at the Lake Forest College Sports Center.

Lake Forest College is one of more than 500 institutions across the nation that has come to participate in this campaign that is focused on attracting more of the nation’s youth to college games. The Take a Kid to the Game® program is celebrating its10th year in the promotion of NCAA® athletics.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this 10th anniversary celebration of the TAKG program,” said Dawn Wickstrum, Assistant to the Athletic Director at Lake Forest College. “As we began our involvement with this worthwhile program, we hoped that all youth in our community would have the opportunity to experience the one-of-a-kind atmosphere during a Lake Forest College basketball game and now it’s a reality.”
