THREE FORESTER FOOTBALL PLAYERS NAMED ALL-AMERICANS
Three Lake Forest College football players have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans by USA Football.  Seniors Jon O'Hern (offensive line), Bernie Perconti (linebacker) and David Fee (running back and punter) were selected.  Each student-athlete was also a first-team All-Midwest Conference selection.  Fee named the Most Valuable Player for the Foresters.
Fee rushed for 720 yards and led the team with 231 receiving yards, a 17.8 yards per catch average and 77 points.  Additionally, Fee punted 49 times for a 35.8-yard average, including a long of 63 yards.
Perconti led the Foresters with 114 tackles (36 solo and 78 assisted).  He also recorded 9 tackles for losses and 6 sacks.  On the final game of the season for Lake Forest, Perconti returned an interception for a touchdown.
O'Hern led an offensive line that helped Lake Forest attain the tenth highest team rushing average in the nation, despite not having an individual rush for 1,000 yards or more.
