Markey, O'Hara, Stark, and Urlacher Honored by USA Football
All four named to Honorable Mention squads

LAKE FOREST, IL - Four members of Lake Forest College's 2000 football team were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by USA Football

Three seniors - Eric Markey (Chicago, IL/Notre Dame), Andy O'Hara (South Bend, IN/Riley), and Jarrett Stark (Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) - were named to the All-American team while Casey Urlacher (Lake Bluff, IL/Lovington (NM)) was selected as a Sophomore All-American.

Markey helped anchor an offensive line that opened holes for 195.3 rushing yards per game, tied for the 45th highest total amongst NCAA Division III schools. Markey was also a First Team All-Midwest Conference selection.

O'Hara, a Second Team All-MWC pick, was second on the team and third in the conference for total tackles. He finished with 112 tackles (43 solo, 69 assisted) overall and 102 (38, 64) in league play. O'Hara also added eight tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, and two recovered fumbles on the season.

Stark had 45 tackles (14, 31), including 10 for loss and three-and-a-half sacks for the year. He was a Second Team All-Conference selection.

Urlacher, a First Team All-MWC pick, led the team with 116 tackles (48, 68). He added 14 tackles for loss (also tops on the team), two-and-a-half sacks, one forced fumble, and one recovered fumble, which he returned 55 yards for a touchdown. Urlacher finished second in the MWC with 105 tackles (47, 58). 

Lake Forest compiled a 3-7 overall and 3-6 Midwest Conference record in 2000 under first-year Head Coach Chad Eisele.
