Brock Stenberg Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman had 148 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown

Brock Stenberg
LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College football player Brock Stenberg (Grand Haven, Mich./Grand Haven) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (November 1) for his performance in the team’s 34-9 victory over Knox College the previous Saturday (October 27).

Stenberg, a freshman running back, rushed for 124 yards and his first career touchdown in the game. He was not tackled behind the line of scrimmage on any of his 14 carries and his 50-yard run in the first quarter is the longest by a Forester so far this season. Stenberg also caught three passes for 24 yards.

The 124-yard rushing performance is the first of more than 100 for Stenberg in his Lake Forest career and matches the season-high for any Forester. He now leads the team with 419 rushing yards this season.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
