LAKE FOREST, IL -  Junior Drew Holman (Morris, IL/ Morris ) was named Forester Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Foresters' win over St. Norbert College on Saturday, November 9th.  The victory was Lake Forest's ninth of the season and only the second ever over St. Norbert College (the other coming in 1986).  With the victory, Lake Forest secured its first conference championship since 1983 and a berth into the NCAA playoffs.

Holman recorded four tackles and two interceptions in a dominating performance by the Forester defense, which handed the Green Knights their first shutout in 59 games.  Holman's first interception came less that a minute into the fourth quarter with St. Norbert threatening.  On the ninth play of a 55 yard drive, Holman stepped in front of the pass on the LFC 9 yard line and returned it 12 yards to squelch St. Norbert's deepest drive of the day.  Ending St. Norbert's second last drive of the game, Holman clinched the victory with his second interception of the afternoon. This time he picked off the pass at the Lake Forest 23 yard line and returned it 14 yards.

For the season, Holman has recorded a team-high seven interceptions and is fourth on the team with 56 tackles, four for loss.  He also has broken up seven passes to lead the team.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
