Joe Dziki Named MWC Special Teams Performer of the Week
Sophomore averaged 43.7 yards on seven punts

Joe Dziki helped the Foresters win the battle for field position.
LAKE FOREST, IL – Lake Forest College football player Joe Dziki (Antioch, IL/Antioch) was named Midwest Conference Special Teams Performer of the Week Monday (September 12) for his contributions to the Foresters’ 20-7 victory at Grinnell College on Saturday (September 10).

Dziki, who only handled the place kicking duties in the Foresters’ season opener, added punting to his responsibilities at Grinnell and excelled in the new role. The sophomore punted seven times for 306 yards, an average of 43.7 yards per punt. His longest of the day was 64 yards and he placed one inside the 20 yard line.

Dziki also connected on two of three extra point attempts in the game and made one tackle.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director.
