Tom Starnicky Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Freshman Fullback Rushes For 119 Yards in First Career Start

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College football player Tom Starnicky (Oak Lawn, IL/Marist), has been named the Forester Athlete of the Week for the week of September 14-20. 

In his first collegiate starting assignment, Starnicky, a 6-6, 205-pound freshman fullback, rushed 20 times for 119 yards. He led the team in rushing as the Foresters picked up their first win of the season with a 30-13 victory at Monmouth College (IL). The win improved Lake Forest's MWC record to 1-0 and evened their overall mark at 1-1.

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects a Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
