Jeff Huebner Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior posted third-highest receiving yardage total in team history

Saturday's game was the best of Jeff Huebner's career.
LAKE FOREST, IL – Lake Forest College football player Jeff Huebner (Antioch, IL/Antioch) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (September 8) after helping to lead the Foresters to a 21-10 victory at home over Macalester College last Saturday (September 3).

Huebner caught a career-high 10 passes and racked up 206 receiving yards, another career high and the third-highest single-game total in the program’s history. The senior wide receiver entered the game with a career-long 43-yard reception to his credit but scored touchdowns on completions of 45 and 78 yards on Saturday. It was the second two-touchdown game in his three-plus seasons.

The Midwest Conference tabbed Huebner as the league’s Offensive Performer of the Week on Tuesday (September 6).

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by members of the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
