LAKE FOREST PRESENTS THEIR END-OF-THE-SEASON AWARDS

Senior Mike Bargman (Thornhill, Ontario) and junior Erica Sove (Modesto, CA) were named team Most Valuable Players for Lake Forest College in 1999-2000, while sophomore Bill Mehilos (Addison, IL) and freshman Zoila Murillo were named Most Improved Players.

The awards were presented at Sunday's (April 30th) Winter/Spring Lake Forest College Athletic Banquet.

Bargman paired with junior Mike Munson to win a national championship in the Open Doubles division at the Intercollegiate Championship Tournament.

Sove teamed with senior Sabrina Zamora in the Women's Open Doubles tournament to finish as the runners-up at the Tournament. 

The Lake Forest handball team won the combined (men's and women's) and men's national championships this past season.
