Suhn Lee Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Sophomore earned All-America honors over the weekend

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College men’s handball player Suhn Lee (Glenview, Ill.) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (February 28) for his performance at the United States Handball Association Collegiate Nationals the previous weekend (February 20-24).

After posting a pair of convincing victories, Lee earned Handball All-America honors by dramatically edging out his opponent 21-11, 13-21, 11-9 in the quarterfinal round. He then fell 21-12, 21-15 in the semifinals to the eventual runner-up.

The sophomore would also have garnered All-America accolades for his play in Open Doubles, where he and junior Jon Iglesias (Elmhurst, Ill.) won twice to advance to the championship match. A 21-12, 21-6 loss in the final prevented the pair from claiming their second straight title.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
