LAKE FOREST, IL - US College Hockey Online released its weekly Division III men's hockey rankings Monday (December 1), and Lake Forest College was ranked 7th. The team cracked the top 15 on November 10th and moved up two spots the following week. The Foresters climbed to #10 last week.

At 8-0-1, Lake Forest is off to its best start since the 1977-78 season. The goaltending tandem of Joel Cameron (Markham, Ontario/Milton Merchants) and Cody Brown (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks), who are both juniors, has stopped 93.1% of shots on goal and have posted a 1.98 goals against average. Offensively, junior Robin Charest (Cabano, Quebec/Hebron Academy) leads a balanced scoring attack with eight assists and 13 points. Freshman Cam Doull (Marwayne, Alberta/Lloydminster Blazers) leads the squad with six goals and ten different players have scored at least twice. The team is averaging more than five goals per game.

The Foresters join fellow Northern Collegiate Hockey Association teams St. Norbert College (#1) and UW-River Falls (#5) in the top 10. The team will travel to #15 UW-Superior this Friday (December 5) and will play at the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday (December 6) in the opening weekend of league play.
