Cody Brown Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Goalie turned away 72 of 74 shots in his last 2 games of the semester

Cody Brown was in goal for 5 of the Foresters' 7 wins this semester.
LAKE FOREST, IL  Lake Forest College hockey player Cody Brown (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) was named Forester Athlete of the Week after recording a save percentage of 97.3% to lead Lake Forest to two non-conference wins. The sophomore goaltender was a model of consistency, stopping 36 of 37 shots in an 8-1 rout of Bethel College (December 7) and in a 3-1 victory over UW-Stevens Point.

On Tuesday (December 10), the Pointers scored just 25 seconds into the contest, but Brown held them scoreless the rest of the way for the Foresters' first win over UWSP since February of 1999.

With the two wins Brown improved his record in goal to 5-2-0 and raised his saves percentage on the year to 94.1% while dropping his goals against average to an even 2.00.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department.
