Foresters Ranked #5 With a Pair of First-Place Votes
Lake Forest is only unbeaten in top 13
  

Tony Fritz's team has climbed to #5 in the national rankings.
LAKE FOREST, IL - U.S. College Hockey Online released it weekly Top 15 Poll Monday (December 8) afternoon and Lake Forest climbed to fifth on the list.

At 10-0-1, the Foresters have the best record among the top 13 teams. Curry College (6-0-0) is the only other unbeaten team in the rankings and listed 14th.

Lake Forest received two of the 15 first-place votes. Top-ranked Norwich University (5-1-0) climbed from last week's #4 ranking and received five first-place votes. St. Norbert College (11-1-1), last week's #1 team, slipped to #2 and also garnered five top votes. Plattsburgh State University (9-1-0) is #3 and Midlebury College #4 with two and one first-place votes, respectively.

The Foresters were listed seventh last week and tenth on November 24. The squad was ranked 13th three weeks ago after cracking the top 15 on November 10.

Lake Forest will play its final game of the first semester on Tuesday (December 9) at home against the Milwaukee School of Engineering at 7:30 p.m.

The USCHO.com Poll is compiled by U.S. College Hockey Online, and consists of 15 voters, including coaches and beat writers from across the country.
