LF Splits Two Games With MIAC Foes Over the Weekend
Foresters defeat St. Mary's 4-1 on Saturday

WINONA, MN - Lake Forest College fell, 3-2, at St. Thomas College on Friday (December 8th) before knocking off St. Mary's College, 4-1, on Saturday (December 9th) to earn a split in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association cross-over series. 

On Friday, Dan Dimauro's (Toronto, Ontario) first goal of the season cut the St. Mary's lead to one goal with just under nine minutes to play, but St. Mary's held on for a 3-2 lead. 

Justin Howard (Burlington, Ontario) had 23 saves and allowed three goals, including two on the power play, for LF as the Foresters were out-shot, 26-15, by St. Thomas.

On Saturday, Lake Forest scored four straight goals, including two by Adrian Wong (Richmond, British Columbia), after St. Mary's scored the game's first goal. The goals were Wong's fifth and sixth of the season.

Mason Black (Smith Falls, Ontario) registered 36 saves for the win. He is now 4-2-1 on the season.

Lake Forest will take their 6-4-2 overall record into the Holiday break and will travel to Augsburg College on Friday, January 5th for their next game.
