Robin Charest Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior scored three goals in playoff sweep

Robin Charest scored three goals over the weekend.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men’s hockey player Robin Charest (Cabano, QC/Hebron Academy) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (February 24) for his contributions to the Foresters’ Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Peters Cup quarterfinal series sweep at UW-Stevens Point last weekend (February 18-19).

Charest scored what turned out to be the game winning goal in the team’s 4-3 triumph Friday night. It came at the 12:20 mark of the third period and gave the visitors a 4-2 lead at the time.

The senior forward lit the lamp twice the following night in a 6-1 series-clinching victory. He scored the game’s first goal 10:07 into the contest and added the Foresters’ fourth score at the 18:03 mark of the second period.

Charest is second on the squad with 32 points on 14 goals and 18 assists this season. He is the team’s active leader with 81 career points on 36 goals and 45 assists.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
