Robin Charest Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Receives second honor for stellar weekend on the ice

Robin Charest's four goals helped the Foresters move into 4th place in the NCHA.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's hockey player Robin Charest (Cabano, QC/Hebron Academy) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (February 5) after he scored four goals in two key Northern Collegiate Hockey Association victories over the weekend (January 30-31). The wins moved Lake Forest into fourth place in the NCHA (5-4-1) with four games remaining in the regular season.

Charest set the tone for the weekend early on Friday (January 30), scoring the first of his four goals just 3:38 into a 3-0 blanking of UW-Eau Claire. The junior struck again 39 seconds into the third period to give the Foresters a 2-0 lead.

On Saturday (January 31) Charest scored a pair of second-period goals as Lake Forest defeated UW-Stevens Point 5-1. His first came at the 6:57 mark and was his second game-winning goal of the weekend. The second came on the power play with exactly one minute remaining in the period and put the Foresters ahead 4-0.

This week's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week (February 2) leads the team with a dozen goals and 25 points this season. He is tied for sixth in the conference in goals, 11th in assists and fifth in points during league play.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
