Lake Forest Unable to Stop Nation’s Top-Ranked Team
Foresters fall at St. Norbert College

DE PERE, Wis. - The Forester men’s hockey team fell 6-0 at St. Norbert College, the nation’s top-ranked team, Saturday night (January 19). Lake Forest is now 2-15-1 overall and 0-7-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. The Green Knights raised their overall record to 16-1-1 and league mark to 6-0-1.

The home team scored the game’s first goal 62 seconds into the contest and added another score just 46 seconds later. St. Norbert finished the opening period with a 3-0 lead after adding a power play goal with 10 seconds left on the clock. The Green Knights converted another power play opportunity at 1:31 in the second period and scored again at 7:27. The final goal of the game was scored at 10:40 in the third.

Lake Forest will host a pair of league opponents next weekend (January 25-26). The Foresters will face off against UW-Stevens Point Friday night and UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. Both contests will begin at 7:30 p.m.
