Three Men's Hockey Players Named All-Conference
Mason Black, David Evans, and Scott McClure receive Honorable Mention accolades

LAKE FOREST, IL - Three Lake Forest College men's hockey players were named to the All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Honorable Mention team. Senior goaltender Mason Black (Smith Falls, Ontario), sophomore forward David Evans (Calgary, Alberta), and senior defenseman Scott McClure (Calgary, Alberta) were honored for Lake Forest.

Twelve players from across the league were selected to a First Team and twelve were named Honorable Mention by a vote of the NCHA's coaches.

Black recorded a .908 save percentage and a 3.15 goals against average on the year, leading the team in both categories.

Evans led Lake Forest in goals (14), assists (17), and points (31). 

And McClure, also an Honorable Mention pick in 2000, was a team captain for the Foresters. He led all Forester defenseman in scoring (18 points) and assists (15) this season.

In other NCHA news, Black and McClure were named to the league's All-Academic team.

Lake Forest finished the season with an 11-14-2 overall record.
