VICKAR NAMED ALL-NCHA HONORABLE MENTION AND ALL-ACADEMIC
For the second consecutive year, Lake Forest goalkeeper Aaron Vickar, a senior from Chesterfield, MO, has been named to the Honorable Mention All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association team, as well as, to the conference All-Academic team.  Vickar, who transferred to Lake Forest two years ago from the University of North Dakota where he won an NCAA Division I national championship, played and started 19 games in front of the Forester's net.  He compiled a 4.2 goals against average, stopped 668 shots and recorded an 89% save percentage this season.  Additionally, Vickar was named the NCHA Player of the Week and U.S. College Hockey Online national Division III Defensive Player of the Week after the Foresters split with pre-season conference favorite Bemidji State during the opening weekend of the season.
