BLACK AND McCLURE HONORED ON NCHA ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

Lake Forest's Mason Black (Smith Falls, Ontario) and Scott McClure (Calgary, Alberta) have been selected to the 48-member 2000 NCHA All-Academic Team. 

To be named to the team a player must have at least a cumulative grade point average of 3.00, have earned at least 50 semester or 75 quarter hours, and be recommended by his head coach.

McClure, 6-2, 200-pound junior defenseman, played in all 26 games for Lake Forest and recorded 5 goals and 8 assists. Three of his goals came on the power play. He was also honored on the Honorable Mention All-NCHA team.

Black, a 5-8, 160-pound junior goaltender, appeared in seven games for the Foresters. He registered a 2.68 goals against average and recorded a 6-0-0 record. He also had a .907 save percentage with 175 saves.
