Mason Black Chosen Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior goaltender claims win over UW-Eau Claire

LAKE FOREST, IL - Senior men's hockey player Mason Black (Smith Falls, Ontario) has been selected as the Forester Athlete of the Week, as chosen by the Lake Forest College Athletic Department. 

Last Friday (November 10th), Black recorded a win over UW-Eau Claire by stopping 27 shots on goal and allowing just one goal (which came on the power play), during the Foresters' 4-1 win.

During Saturday's (November 11th) 3-2 overtime loss to UW-Stevens Point, the second-ranked team in the nation (U.S. College Hockey Online), Black had 26 saves.

For the week, he recorded a 93.0% save percentage.

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects the Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
