Foresters Skate to a 1-1 Tie at Lawrence University
Team will resume NCHA play at home next weekend

APPLETON, Wis. - The Lake Forest College men’s hockey team tied Lawrence University 1-1 Saturday (November 24) night at Lawrence. The Foresters are now 1-7-1 and the Vikings 1-4-1 this year.

The home team got on the scoreboard first with a goal at the 3:54 mark of the opening period. Lake Forest tied the score on the second goal of the season by junior Chris Wilson (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Cornwall Colts). What turned out to be the official game-tying goal was assisted by classmate Chris Jackson (Acworth, Ga./Springfield Spirit).

Forester junior Scott Campbell (Bloomfield, Ont./Elmira Sugar Kings) tallied 27 saves in the contest, including 11 in the third period. He raised his save percentage on the season to .917.

Lake Forest will resume Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play next weekend (November 30-December 1) at home. The Foresters will host UW-Superior at 7:30 Friday night and College of St. Scholastica at the same time on Saturday.
