David Evans Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Senior forward was key in team's third NCHA win

David Evans had the second four-point game of his career Saturday.
LAKE FOREST, IL  Lake Forest College hockey player David Evans (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Royals) was named Forester Athlete of the Week after his five-point weekend helped Lake Forest earn a split in two NCHA road games. The Foresters lost to UW-River Falls 3-2 Friday (November 22), but responded with a 5-1 win over UW-Stout Saturday.

In Friday's loss Evans assisted on Dave Williams's game-tying goal with just four seconds left in the second period. On Saturday he scored the Foresters' first, third and fifth goals and assisted on the second. It was his second career hat trick.

Evans leads the team with seven goals and 10 points this season. He now has 36 goals, 50 assists, and 86 points in his career and is currently the team's active leader in all three categories.

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department.
