Matt Bruni Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Sophomore forward scores game-winning goal with 13.6 second left versus St. Norbert

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's hockey player Matt Bruni (Unionville, Ontario) has been named the Forester Athlete of the Week for the week of November 2nd-8th. 

Bruni tallied two goals and two assists during two games for the week.

On Friday (November 3rd), Bruni scored the Foresters' first goal and assisted on another during a 8-4 loss at St. Norbert.

The following day, Bruni also recorded one goal and one assist. His goal came with just 13.6 seconds remaining in overtime to give Lake Forest the 3-2 win against the fourth-ranked team in the nation (U.S. College Hockey Online). 

Lake Forest is currently 2-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects the Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
