Tyler Canal Receives Preseason All-USCHO Honors
Junior named to West Region’s second team

Tyler Canal recorded 70 points in his first two seasons.
LAKE FOREST, IL - U.S. College Hockey Online released its Preseason Division III Men’s All-USCHO Teams Wednesday (October 19) and a Lake Forest College player made the list.

Junior Tyler Canal (Thunder Bay, ON/Stratford Cullitons) was named to the West Region’s Second Team. Canal led the Foresters with 16 goals, 23 assists, and 39 points last season and earned Honorable Mention All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association honors. He ranked sixth in the league in goals, seventh in assists, and tied-for fifth in points. Canal recorded at least one point in 25 of the team’s 28 games, including each of the final 13 contests.

Canal also paced the Foresters as a freshman with 17 assists and 31 points and tied for the team lead with 14 goals. He has 70 points in 56 career games and at least one in 47 of them.

Three NCHA players were named to the West Region’s First Team and three others joined Canal on the Second Team.
