The Forester Men's HockeyProgram
"Challenging" best describes Lake Forest Hockey. Despite competing against larger institutions, the Foresters are recognized as a premier college hockey program. Finishing as high as second in the nation in 1978, Lake Forest has appeared in post-season play 19 of the past 26 seasons, including a 1991 NCAA quarterfinal appearance. The 1992-93 season marked a historic moment in Forester hockey when the school joined the NCHA, which has produced 15 national champions since 1982. The Foresters, who have produced 15 All-Americans, field varsity and junior varsity teams and compete in their own on-campus rink.
