Libertyville High graduate J.R. Jurecko poured in 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Lake Forest College in a recent 81-70 win over Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis.

Fred Bell led LFC with 19 points while Eric Tolar added 10.

The win came in a non-conference game.

The Foresters are currently 2-0 in Midwest Conference play and the usual league also-ran finds itself tied for first place at the Christmas break.
