Lee Taylor Named Midwest Region Player of the Week
  

Lee Taylor's big week earned him Midwest Region Player of the Week honors.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's basketball player Lee Taylor (Sheldon, IA/Sheldon) has been named the Columbus Multimedia Midwest Region Player of the Week for the week of November 27th - December 3rd.

Taylor had been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week a day earlier.

Taylor helped Lake Forest to two important victories during the week. The first was an 85-67 defeat at the University of Chicago, the nation's 5th-ranked team (according to D3hoops.com). The second was a 23-point win at home over Midwest Conference foe Grinnell College in which the Foresters scored a school record 133 points.

Taylor had at least 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal in each game, including a career-high 13 assists against Grinnell.

On the week he averaged 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 9.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He shot 11 of 14 from the field (78.6%), 1 of 2 from 3-point range and 12 of 17 from the line.
