LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's basketball player Eric Tolar (Maywood, IL/Proviso East) has been named the Forester Athlete of the Week for the week of November 30th to December 6th.

Tolar, a sophomore forward/center, scored a career-high 33 points on a perfect 12-of-12 field goal shooting performance in his team's 133-110 victory over Grinnell College on Saturday (December 2nd). The Foresters' 133 points are a new school record as are Tolar's 12 field goals without a miss.

In Tuesday's 65-56 defeat of Concordia University (IL), Tolar made 4 of 5 field goals and scored 11 points. He also made all three of his free throw attempts.

Tolar is the team's second-leading scorer on the season with 14.2 points per game. He is shooting 72.4% from the field and leads the Foresters with 5 blocked shots.

The Lake Forest College Athletic Department selects a Forester Athlete of the Week each Thursday.
