Patrick Hanley Named Forester Athlete of the Week
Sophomore helped team win two of three games

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College men’s basketball player Patrick Hanley (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield) was named Forester Athlete of the Week Thursday (December 7) for his contributions to a pair of victories in three games over the previous seven days.

Hanley, a sophomore forward, scored six points and pulled down a game-high eight rebounds Saturday (December 2) afternoon in Lake Forest’s 66-58 triumph at Beloit College

The next day the Foresters fell 69-59 at Lawrence University, the nation’s 17th-ranked team. Hanley scored 15 points in the contest and led all players with a career-high 14 boards. He also dished out a game-high five assists and added a steal.

On Tuesday Hanley helped lead the team to a 68-61 win at home over Milwaukee School of Engineering. He scored eight points, pulled down eight more rebounds, and tied for the team lead with four assists.

For the week Hanley averaged 9.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while committing just five turnovers.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
