Patrick Hanley
LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College men’s basketball player Patrick Hanley (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield) was selected as the Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday (February 11) after his performance in a pair of victories on the road the previous weekend (February 5-6).

Hanley, a senior forward, began the weekend by tying for team-high honors with 14 points in Lake Forest’s 78-66 victory at Carroll University. He also pulled down four rebounds and dished out four assists in the contest.

The Foresters completed the weekend sweep on Saturday with a 66-59 triumph at St. Norbert College, which entered the game undefeated in MWC play and ranked ninth in the country. Hanley led all players with a career-high 30 points and added five rebounds. He shot 9-for-13 from the field, 6-for-9 from three-point range, and 6-for-7 from the free throw line. Hanley also had a pair of assists to surpass the program’s single-season record in that category.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays. It was Hanley’s second such honor of the season and fifth of his career.
