Lake Forest College's men's basketball team clinched its first Midwest Conference title since 1978 with a 94-91 win over Grinnell on Saturday.

The Foresters are 14-0 in the league, four games ahead of Ripon.

Winning the league title means the Foresters will host the league's Final Four
tournament on Feb. 25-26. The tourney winner will represent the league in the NCAA Division III tournament.

Ripon has also qualified for the event, while five teams are still alive for the final two berths.

On Wednesday, LFC will host Ripon at 8 p.m. on Saturday, the Foresters will have a rematch with Grinnell.
