Eric McDonald Earns Second MWC Performer of the Week Honor
Junior led Foresters to two wins and MWC Tourney berth 
  

Eric McDonald recorded a pair of double-doubles last week.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College men's basketball player Eric McDonald (Elk Grove, IL/Elk Grove) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week Tuesday (February 24). He was a major contributor in the team's back-to-back victories over Monmouth College and Lawrence University. The wins clinched the 4th seed in the conference tournament for the Foresters. 

The junior forward hit a crucial jump shot with just 13 seconds left on the clock Wednesday (February 18) at Monmouth College to send the game to overtime. He finished the hard-fought 82-76 triumph with 23 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. He was 9-for-20 from the field and 4-for-5 from the foul line.

McDonald recorded another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday's (February 21) 67-59 victory over Lawrence University. He was also a force on the defensive side of the ball with five blocked shots.

McDonald is currently 11th on the Lake Forest all-time scoring list with 1,064 career points. He is second on this year's team with averages of 15.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game and leads the squad in blocked shots.
