Lake Forest College can clinch no worse than a tie for the Midwest Conference men's basketball championship by beating Knox College in Galesburg on Wednesday night.

With four games to play, LFC leads the league with a 12-0 record, three games ahead of Ripon. Any combination of two LFC wins and Ripon losses will give the Foresters the outright title.

The top four teams will play in a tournament to determine the league's representative in the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Last week, LFC beat Lawrence 68-56 and Carroll 78-66 while Knox (7-5 in the league, 12-6 overall) lost to Monmouth 82-76 and beat Lawrence 66-64.
