Lake Forest College's men's basketball team became the first team in the Midwest Conference to reach the four-win plateau when the Foresters stuck Monmouth 86-79 and Illinois College 77-70 last week.
 
LFC is 4-0 in the league while Knox is 2-0 and Beloit is 2-1. Every other team has at least two losses.
 
In the win over Monmouth, LFC trailed 42-39 at the half. Joe Wysocki led the Foresters with 20 points while Fred Bell and Bryan Bertola each had 14.
