McDonald and Taylor Named to All-Conference Teams
McDonald earns second team honors, Taylor an honorable mention

LAKE FOREST, IL - The Midwest Conference announced its 2003 all-conference teams Monday (March 3) and a pair of Foresters made the lists.

Sophomore forward Eric McDonald (Elk Grove, IL/Elk Grove) was selected to the Second Team after receiving honorable mention last season. McDonald led the team and was tied-for-ninth in the conference with 17.4 points per game in 16 league contests. He was also ranked 12th with 5.8 rebounds per game and fourth with a .594 field goal percentage.

In just two seasons, McDonald has already scored 755 points. He ranks eighth in school history with a career scoring average of 16.4 points per game and second with a .586 career field goal percentage.

Senior Lee Taylor (Sheldon, IA/Sheldon) was the team's other All-MWC selection, earning Honorable Mention honors for the third consecutive year. Taylor finished second in the league with 5.5 assists per conference game and tenth with 6.1 rebounds per contest.

Taylor's 106 assists in all games this season is the third-highest total in school history. With 337 career helpers, he is easily the school record-holder. The versatile Taylor is also listed fifth with 118 career steals and finished his four years with 860 points scored and 499 rebounds.

Five players were named to the MWC's First Team, six to the Second Team, and nine earned Honorable Mention all-conference honors.
