Travis Clark Named Honorable Mention All-Midwest Conference
Clark was the only freshman among 16 all-conference honorees

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Midwest Conference released the 2008-09 All-MWC basketball teams on Tuesday (March 3) and Lake Forest College's Travis Clark (Evanston, Ill./Evanston) was an Honorable Mention selection.

Clark led the Foresters with 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots this season. He also shot a team-high 61.3 percent from the field, which ranks 16th in the nation. He finished the 16-game MWC schedule ranked 10th in the conference with 13.9 points per contest and sixth with 6.5 boards per game. His .634 field goal percentage during league play was the fourth-highest mark in the MWC.

The Foresters finished the season with an overall record of 7-16 and their 6-10 mark in conference play was seventh in the standings.

The All-MWC teams are selected by the league's head coaches. Five players were listed on the First Team and six on the Second Team. Five more earned Honorable Mention recognition. Twelve of the 16 players honored were seniors, one was a junior, and two were sophomore. Clark was the only freshman on the list.
