THREE FORESTERS RECEIVE ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

Three members of the 1999-2000 Midwest Conference Champions received All-Conference distinctions. Foresters J.R. Jurecko, a junior center from Libertyville, IL (Libertyville H.S.), Brian Bruha, a sophomore from Hillsboro, WI (Hillsboro H.S.), and Fred Bell, a freshman from Mequon, WI (Homestead H.S.) were selected to the All-MWC squad by the league's head coaches.

Jurecko was named the five-member First Team. He led the league in rebounding for the second straight season and finished in the top 15 for both points per game (13.9 ppg; 13th) and field goal percentage (51.8%; 13th).

Bruha was a Second Team pick after averaging 11.4 points per conference game. Bruha was also amongst the league leaders for three-point field goal percentage (40.4%; 5th), assists per game (3.4; 7th), and rebounds per game (5.9; 11th).

Bell was named to the Honorable Mention group and averaged 11.2 points per game. He was the only player to be amongst the league's top 15 for all three shooting percentage categories - three-point field goal percentage (60.0%; 1st), free throw percentage (85.4%; 4th), and field goal percentage (52.2%; 11th).

Lake Forest's three All-Conference selections was as many as any league school.

Also honored was Lake Forest Head Coach Chris Conger as the league's Coach of the Year. It was the second time in the past three years he has received the award.
