Michael "Mike" Horner '68
Growing up in Hancock, Michigan, Mike attended the Gunnery School in Connecticut and participated in football, soccer, and hockey.  Co-captain of the soccer team his senior year, he was also captain of the hockey team his junior and senior years, as well as being the team's top scorer for three years.

Entering Lake Forest in 1964, he went on to earn four letters each in soccer and hockey.  Captain of the hockey team his senior year, he led the Foresters in most goals scored in three of his four years and also led the team in points during his junior and senior years.  He was also a member of Digamma Alpha Upsilon and was active with intramurals.

Graduating with a degree in economics, Mike entered the investment banking business in Chicago. He began his career with Continental Illinois National Bank before taking a position with McLeod-Young-Weir in Ontario, Canada.  Returning to the United States in 1994, he became an accounta executive for Affinity Corporation in Jacksonville, Florida.  He continued to play and coach semi-pro and amateur hockey throughout his career.
