Foresters Fall at St. Norbert in MWC Tournament Semifinals
Team finishes the season with 10-5-1 overall record
Josh Enck scored for the first time in his career.

LAKE FOREST, IL – The Lake Forest College men’s soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision at Midwest Conference champion St. Norbert College Friday (November 4) in the semifinals of the conference tournament. The Foresters finished the year with a 10-5-1 record. Green Knights are now 15-2-0.

The home team scored just 8:14 into the game and added another first half goal with 3:32 remaining in the period.

The Green Knight lead grew to three at 62:31 but was trimmed to back to two on a penalty kick by sophomore Josh Enck (Antioch, IL/Antioch). The final goal of the contest was scored by St. Norbert with 1:56 remaining.

The Foresters will lose seniors Alex Lofgren (Glenview, IL/Glenbrook South), Adam Antell (Colchester, VT/Colchester), Tino Castrejon (Highwood, IL/Highwood), Sam Figueroa (Bartlett, IL/Bartlett), and Jon Duke (Eugene, OR/Marist) to graduation in May.
