Lake Forest Defeated by Visiting Carroll University

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Forester men's soccer team was defeated 3-1 at home by Carroll University on Wednesday (October 1). The loss dropped Lake Forest's overall record to 3-8-0 and Midwest Conferenc mark to 2-3-0. The Pioneers are now 7-3-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the league.

Carroll scored the only goal of the opening half at 27:15.

The Pioneers added tallies at 47:10 and 51:54 to take a commanding 3-0 advantage. Lake Forest's lone goal was recorded by freshman Nelson Dorvlo (St. Louis, Mo./University City) at 70:34. His first career score was assisted by sophomore Kahiye Hassan (Portland, Maine/Waynflete School).

Lake Forest will host Aurora University next Thursday afternoon (October 9) at 4:30.
