CHICAGO, IL - The Forester men's soccer team suffered their first shutout loss of the season on Tuesday (October 16th) at North Park University by a score of 5-0. It was also the Foresters' most lopsided loss in almost two years and their worst shutout loss since 1997.

North Park scored two of their goals before intermission and the other three in the game's 55th, 65th and 75th minutes. The Foresters managed just three shot attempts the entire game.

Knowing that his team would play three Midwest Conference games in four days, starting on Thursday (October 18th), head coach Ed Kositzki rested the vast majority of his starters at North Park.

Current standings show Lake Forest with two MWC losses, the fewest among the ten teams, and six other teams with three blemishes on their conference records. St. Norbert College, one of those seven team, will play at Lake Forest on Thursday (October 18th) at 4:00 pm. On Saturday (October 20th), the Foresters will host Lawrence University and on Sunday (October 21st), the team will travel to four-time defending Midwest Conference champion Ripon College.
