first time this season.
WHITEWATER, WI - The Lake Forest College men's soccer team lost a 2-1 decision at UW-Whitewater Saturday (October 26) in the team's final non-conference game of the regular season. The Foresters dropped to 8-7-0 overall while Whitewater raised its record to 13-4-0.

The Warhawks got on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 24th minute. The home team tacked on another score in the 32nd minute to take a two-goal lead.

Lake Forest cut the lead in half with junior defender Phil Schwab's (St. Louis, MO/Christian Brothers College H.S.) first goal of the season. The score came in the 58th minute but, unfortunately for the Foresters, it was the final tally of the match.

Lake Forest is still 5-3-0 in Midwest Conference play and needs a win next Saturday (November 2) at home over Ripon and a loss by one of three other MWC teams to qualify for the conference tournament. The Foresters have made it to the four-team conference tourney each of the past four seasons and 11 of the last 12.
